Ayurvedic energy balls
Quick. Easy. Delicious.
Ingredients for 15 balls
- 150g dried dates
- 6 tbsp coconut flakes
- 1 tsp cinnamon (ground)
- 1cm fresh ginger root
- 2 tbsp oat flakes (fine)
- 80g sunflower seeds
- 1 pinch of rock salt
- 2 tbsp almond paste
Preparation
- Halve and pit the dates, then put them in a tall container or in a blender.
- Add half of the coconut flakes, cinnamon, ginger, oat flakes, sunflower seeds, rock salt, and almond paste and blend until smooth.
- If the mixture is too sticky, simply add a few more oat flakes.
- With damp hands, form small balls and roll them in the remaining coconut flakes.
- Store them in a cool place and eat soon.
