Yoga Shala and programme
Space to find yourself
At a particularly idyllic spot in our yoga hotel in Tyrol you will find one of the most important places for your holiday in the Traumhotel Alpina – our Yoga Shala. Shala means training and exercise room. Here you will find mats and meditation cushions for your path to unity, which you will follow during yoga. The Yoga Shala is energetically purified at regular intervals and represents an essential oasis of peace. A place of harmony, where you can also enjoy daily yoga classes with our certified yoga teachers.

Daily yoga programme at Traumhotel Alpina
Yoga is one of our top priorities at Traumhotel Alpina. Our certified yoga teachers await you per day in summer at 8 a.m. and at 4 p.m., or once per day winter, at 8 a.m., for a Hatha Yoga session. As a holistic programme, each yoga class contains Asanas (poses), meditation, Pranayama (breathing exercises), and Shavasana (relaxation). A session lasts about one hour and takes place at our power places in nature and in our yoga rooms in case of bad weather. Every week a special theme determines our yoga programme, e.g., heart centre, root chakra … Even if you are new to yoga, we invite you to participate.

Start your day right with Ayurveda and yoga
Before morning yoga, our yogis are served an Ayurvedic drink. Breakfast takes place after the morning session. Make sure to not eat for one or two hours before the afternoon yoga session. And don’t worry about equipment: we provide mats and aids such as blocks, blankets, and pillows. If you wish to use your own yoga mat, feel free to bring it with you. Last but not least, wear comfortable clothing, something that allows you to move freely and feel relaxed, e.g., leggings, sweatpants, t-shirt, and fleece jacket.

Individual training, Kriyas, and more
We offer you the possibility to book a private yoga lesson (at a fee). Our teachers help you move your body into the proper alignment of Asanas, especially in case of physical limitations. Furthermore, you can work on specific poses. Maybe you’re interested in finger yoga – Mudras can have a strong influence on your well-being. Or would you like to listen to your inner self – even dog meditation is offer so that your four-legged friends can benefit from yoga’s relaxing effect. Once per week, at a small fee, we introduce you to nasal irrigation, i.e., Jala Neti. Afterwards, you may take the ceramic neti pot home with you for your own Kriya practice (cleaning techniques).
